We encourage our students to take an active role in their school and community.  Involvement in clubs and organizations contributes to a well-rounded school experience, one that allows our students to embrace responsibility, accept positions of leadership, and explore their enthusiastic participation in sports and clubs.

St. Ann offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students to choose from.

St. Ann offers many sports opportunities throughout the year.

2025 - 2026 Colts Clubs

 

Rosary Prayer Group (Mrs. Segarra)
Members of this prayer group will pray the rosary after school every Monday. Students should bring a rosary and be prepared to share their intentions. Prayer will take place in Mrs. Segarra’s office from 3:00 to 3:20 pm. Open to saints-in-the-making in grades 2nd - 8th. Pick up will be at the front of the school.

PreK 3 & 4 Storytime (Mrs. Thomas) 
Come join the fun!! We will read an exciting story once a month with an engaging activity to accompany each one. Look forward to some GREAT holiday stories as we navigate through the year! Story activities will also focus on strengthening fine motor skills and following directions. We will meet once a month from 2:50pm - 3:20pm in the library.  An adult must be present with the child during the entire session. This is not a drop off activity. Space is limited to 10.

St. Faustina Youth Society (Mrs. Jolly & Ms. Thompson) 
SFYS is a faith-based club designed for children to grow in their love for Jesus through the message of the Divine Mercy, Inspired by the life and teachings of St. Faustina Kowalska, this club helps children develop a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, acts of kindness, and learning about the beauty of God’s mercy. Meetings will be once a month from 3:00-3:45pm.

Student Council  (Ms. Thompson & Ms. Angotti) 
The Student Council of St. Ann Catholic School is committed to fostering a spirit of faith, service, and community among our students. We strive to represent the diverse voices of our peers while promoting values of respect, kindness, and integrity. Through collaboration and leadership, we aim to enhance the school experience by organizing meaningful activities, supporting charitable initiatives, and encouraging a strong sense of belonging. Together, we work to create a nurturing environment where every student can grow in their faith and reach their full potential.
The officers are elected by the (rising) 5th-8th grade. 
Classroom representatives are elected just by their homeroom.

Beta Club (Mrs. Segarra & Mrs. Harmeier) 
The Junior Beta Club is a national honor society for students in grades 6–8 that promotes academic achievement, leadership, character, and service. The club encourages students to develop leadership skills and take part in service projects that benefit their school and local community. Students are inducted by invitation only based on academic achievement, behavior, and teacher recommendations.

Game Club (Mrs. Miller & Ms. Ghio)
Game club is a fun way for students to gather and play a variety of board or card games like Uno and Skipbo. Gamers will meet once a month in the school library from 3-3:30. Pick up is in front of the school. The game club is open to grades 4-8.

Garden Club (Mrs. Shoemaker)
Garden club is designed to help students foster a respect and appreciation for God’s creation through the beauty of the natural world. Students will learn to be stewards of God’s creation and care for the environment. We will learn how to plant, cultivate and harvest a variety of flowers, herbs and vegetables throughout the school year. Garden club will be open to students in grades 3-5.

Dr. Pepper Club  (Mrs. Miller)
Dr. Pepper Club provides a friendly environment where students spend time together enjoying good conversations and a refreshing Dr. Pepper. This time is for students to relax and share what's on their minds. Dr. Pepper fans will meet in Mrs. Miller's room from 3-3:30 on the first Wednesday of each month beginning in September. Pick up will be under the bell tower at 3:30 sharp.  Dr. Pepper Club is open to students 5-8th grade.

Book Club (Mrs. Miller) 
For 4th & 5th, *3rd grade with teacher recommendation
Book club is a great opportunity for students to foster a love for reading, develop social skills, enhance comprehension skills, and build critical thinking. Students meet weekly to discuss books, share their perspectives’, and pose questions. *Dates and times to be determined.

Library Council  (Ms. Ghio)
Students will meet to discuss book options for the library, help coordinate the Scholastic Book fair and organize the end of the year school-wide Book Exchange. Meetings are from 3pm - 3:30pm in the library once per quarter.

Harry Potter Book Club  (Mrs. Feaster)
Members of the Harry Potter Book Club will read “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” over the school year, with assigned chapter readings each month. Book club will meet monthly to discuss the chapters and complete an activity related to the book. Students must complete the readings each month in order to participate. Celebratory themed party at the end of the year. This is opened to rising 5th graders - 8th graders.

Robotics Club at St. Benedict at Auburndale (SBA) 8250 Varnavas Dr, Cordova, TN
Robotics club is for students in 5th - 8th grades who are interested in working with St. Benedict high school students to design and develop robots. Robotic equipment will be provided as will a practice competition field. Students must be transported to SBA by a parent or guardian.

Badminton (Ms. Angotti)
Badminton club is an active and engaging way to spend time with friends and play badminton! Players will meet once a week starting in spring from 3:00-4:00.  Pick up is in front of the round circle by the youth gym.
