Colts Corral Day (Orientation Day)

 

School Supply List 2024-25 School Year 

Colts Corral Day (Orientation Day) will take place on Tuesday, August 6th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. You may come at any time during this period. Please come to the school gym to receive pertinent information about the year. Then you may meet your child’s homeroom teacher and turn in school forms. Pre-K  - 8th may bring supplies on this day and drop off in the classroom after you meet with your teacher.

Documents Needed: You will need to print and fill out all documents pertaining to your family and bring them with you.  All forms must be turned in for your registration to be considered complete.

Supply Drop off:
All families are welcome to bring their school supplies to Colts Corral Day. We encourage you to leave all supplies in the car until you are finished with all school paperwork in the gym. After you have completed all mandatory paperwork, you may then proceed with dropping off supplies. Please follow the drop off instructions below.

Preschool and Kinder:
After you have finished in the gym, proceed to your child's classroom. The doors to the classrooms will be locked. On the main wall, between the classroom and hallway, you will see name tags for each child. Please place all of your child's supplies under the name tag for your child. Please make sure students and other siblings are not messing with anyone else's belongings in the hallway.

1st through 4th Grade:
After you have finished in the gym, proceed to your child's classroom. The doors to the classrooms will be open. Inside each classroom you will find desks with name tags on them. Place all of your child's supplies on the desk with your child's name tag on it.  Please make sure students and other siblings are not touching any of the teacher's belongings or other student's belongings.

5th through 8th Grade:
After you have finished in the gym, proceed to your child's homeroom class. The doors to the classrooms will be open. Inside each classroom you will find desks with name tags on them. Place all of your child's supplies on the desk with your child's name tag on it.  Please make sure students and other siblings are not touching any of the teacher's belongings or other student's belongings.

Newcomers Meeting will also take place on August 6th in the Cafeteria. Newcomers Meeting will begin at 6:00 pm. We recommend Newcomers attend early enough to finish orientation before the Newcomers meeting at 6:00 pm.

PK3 & PK4: Sleeping mats will be available for purchase in the gym for $40 each.  Please bring a check or cash (exact change needed) with you to purchase one.

1st grade through 4th grade: Desk bags will be available for purchase in the gym for $18 each. Please bring a check or cash (exact change needed) with you to purchase one.

Other things open during that time: 

Spirit shop will be open in the lobby of the school gym.  You can purchase used uniforms at this time.

Home & School will be in the gym for you to ask questions and sign up to volunteer during the year.  

A sacrament table will be set up for any student planning to receive First Communion or Confirmation this year. Also, if your family is looking to join the Catholic Church, we will have information on that as well.
